We are a growing financial planning company that provides advice to Professionals, Families, Business Owners and Retirees. Our holistic approach in providing advice expands into areas including estate planning, social security, and complex aged care advice to provide a single advice location for clients at all stages of life. We are seeking an individual with an interest in learning and broadening their advice knowledge through providing advice to existing and new clients.

The Role

The Customer Service Officer is responsible for ensuring a seamless client experience from initial engagement through to ongoing service delivery. This role involves managing client services, overseeing administrative processes, and liaising closely with financial advisers to support the delivery of high-quality financial advice. Comprehensive training and development in client services, along with mentorship from experienced professionals, will be provided relating to all role requirements. A teachable candidate is sought to develop their administrative capabilities over time.

Primary duties will include:

General office administrative oversight and support

Preparing client meetings

Post-meeting administrative support for the financial adviser

Contacting and working with new and existing clients

Assisting with applications, both paper-based and using online tools, across various platforms and product providers, through to completion stage, to ensure business efficiency and ideal client outcomes

Providing detailed and accurate research, using tools such as Xplan, WealthSolver, Risk Researcher, and Xtools+

Advice document development and editing

About You

Genuine passion for client services and working to help people

Willingness to learn with high attention to detail,

Capable of working within a team or autonomously,

Strong computing / IT skills and the ability to pick up new systems and processes. Experience in Xplan and strong MS Word editing skills be considered favourably

Organised and process driven,

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to enable you to build rapport with clients and staff

We will consider a wide range of experiences, including recent graduates, and are looking for the right person for the role. Financial services industry experience will be considered favourably for this office-based role.
