Position: Accredited Practising Dietitian
Location: Bunbury, WA
Contract: Part time (Days and times of work are flexible).
Clinic: Dynamic Allied Health (allied health clinic offering both dietetic services and exercise physiology)

About Us: Dynamic Allied Health is a newly established allied health clinic in Bunbury. We opened our doors in March 2022. We are a sister duo, specialising in exercise physiology and dietetics. We have a particular interest in womens health, sports nutrition and eating disorder management.

Role Overview: We are seeking a dietitian to join our team in a part time role (2 - 3 days per week, with room to increase in time). The successful candidate will have at least 12 months post graduate experience in the private practice setting. However, we encourage new graduates to apply as full training and support will be provided to the right applicant. The case load involves a wide variety of clinical presentations including; chronic disease management, eating disorders, sports nutrition and womens health. Free onsite parking is available.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting face to face 1:1 consultations in the clinic

Comprehensive note taking and correspondence with referring health professionals (ie. GP, specialists).

Delivering nutrition presentations to school groups and sporting clubs.

Ongoing professional development as per DA requirements for personal and professional growth.

Assistance with administrative tasks (processing payments, creating client profiles, scheduling appointments etc.) where required.

Essential Criteria:

Successful completion of the Master of Dietetics course (or similar post graduate degree), through a recognised University as approved by Dietitians Australia.

Registration with DA for APD credential

WWC check

Police Clearance

Registration with Medicare, DVA and other private health insurers.

Hold a valid professional indemnity insurance certificate

Reliable transportation.

Desirable Criteria:

Experience in a private practice setting (12 months post graduate)

Familiar with patient booking / note taking systems

Confidence in public speaking with excellent communication skills (liaising with clients, families, GP's etc.)

Interest in womens health, eating disorders and sports nutrition.
