Administrators – Nighthawk Transport (Darwin & Katherine, NT)

Salary: $60,000-$70,000, based on experience

Marlu Transport Solutions Trading as Nighthawk Transport is a locally operated logistics provider with a strong footprint across the Northern Territory and regional Australia. We’re currently on the lookout for an experienced Administrators to join our Darwin & Katherine team and support the smooth running of our busy operations.

This is a key role that requires someone who understands the unique challenges of transport in the Top End and is confident working in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:
You’ll be the engine behind the scenes—keeping our paperwork on track, our schedules in check, and our team supported. Your knowledge of transport industry processes and the Northern Territory road network will help ensure our drivers and freight keep moving efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to the existing administration & operations teams, including data entry, job scheduling, and record-keeping

Assist with driver paperwork, compliance documents, and fatigue management tracking

Prepare delivery manifests, consignment notes, and proof of delivery documentation

Liaise with customers, suppliers, and drivers to coordinate bookings and resolve queries

Maintain and update transport records, vehicle service logs, and license registers

Support safety, training, and reporting processes as required

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a transport or logistics administration role

Understanding of NT road networks, regional delivery schedules, and freight systems

Familiarity with industry compliance, including NHVR and fatigue regulations

Strong computer skills (MS Office, transport management systems, or similar)

Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities

Confident communicator with a proactive attitude and team spirit

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a dynamic environment
