The Shire of Narrogin is on an exciting trajectory — emerging as a regional hub for the renewable energy industry, guided by our Narrogin Renewable Energy Zone (NREZ). We're looking for an experienced and passionate professional to join our Executive Leadership Team and help shape the future of land use, sustainability, and regional development in our community.

Your responsibilities

· Lead the Shire’s Planning & Sustainability portfolio

· Oversee strategic planning, environmental sustainability, regulatory and development services

· Support and facilitate major renewable energy projects

· Guide policy development, compliance, and integrated strategic planning

About you

You’re a confident and collaborative professional with:

· Tertiary qualifications in Planning, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or related fields

· Extensive experience in urban and regional planning or sustainability leadership

· Strong knowledge of WA planning legislation

· A passion for regional communities and climate-smart development
