Lecturer (Academic B): Total Remuneration $130,270 to $153,255 pa (including salary of $110,080 to $129,503 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)

Senior Lecturer (Academic C): Total Remuneration $157,855 to $180,372 pa (including salary of $133,390 to $152,417 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)

Two positions available: Lecturer and Senior Lecturer in Social Work. Please indicate your preferred level in your application.

As a key member of our academic team, you will be responsible for teaching and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students, delivering high-impact education and personalised support to a diverse student cohort. We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with significant teaching and research experience and expertise in using large corporate systems. You will play a pivotal role in the development and delivery of the Master of Social Work (Qualifying) course, ensuring alignment with industry standards, accreditation requirements, and contemporary social work practice.

Position Requirements - Lecturer

Relevant postgraduate qualification (or equivalent) in Social Work.

Eligibility for membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).

Teaching qualification or willingness to pursue a Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education.

Awareness of current professional and educational issues in the field.

Demonstrated ability to teach and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students, with experience in multi-modal delivery strategies for student support.

Proven research track record through recent published research outputs with the ability to contribute to research in the school.

Position Requirements – additional for Senior Lecturer

Possession of a doctoral qualification (PhD) in an area relevant to Social Work.

Demonstrated experience in a management level position relating to Social Work.
