My client is a highly regarded and well-established accounting firm, located in a busy inner Northern suburb of Brisbane. They are a two Partner firm with great staff retention and are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team and take ownership in managing a portfolio of SME style clients.

The position is in business services and successful candidates will ideally possess at least 4 years' relevant experience.

Key responsibilities and duties will include:

Working autonomously in end to end management of compliance and tax affairs for business clients including:

processing financial statetements and tax returns

preparing BAS/IAS

Directly liasiing with clients regarding queries and accounting matters

Taxation planning and advice for clients

NB: No review of work required for this role

Qualifications & Experience

CA/CPA Qualified (advantageous but not essential)

Previous experience in client engagement

Good tax knowledge and some exposure to business structuring

Experience using Xero, MYOB and Quickbooks
