We are seeking an experienced Storeperson (with forklift experience) to join our client based in their dynamic Smithfield team! This temporary to permanent role is for an immediate start and requires previous experience on the forklift, and previous experience within team management as there is a HUGE view to a managerial role (2IC) shortly after your employment commences!

Shift time:

6am - 2pm, AM shift availability is a MUST.

What you'll be doing:

General storeperson duties (LF Forklift operation, picking and packing, inventory management)

Dropping of dispatch notes

Coordination of truck loading to meet day-today requirements

Working closely alongside Warehouse Supervisor to assist with task delegation, meeting demands and acting as 2IC when necessary

What we're looking for:

Minimum 1 years experience within team leader/supervisory based role

Proficient in operating forklifts (LF) both counterbalance and high reach and other MHE warehouse equipment, with a minimum 1 year of experience

Proficiency in basic computer tasks is essential, experience with WMS/ERP systems or inventory-related software required

Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records

Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with teams

Adaptable to changes throughout the day

Relevant qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field are desirable
