Aldebaran Contracting is a civil contracting company with experience as a provider of civil construction services to the NT Government, Local Governments and the private sector throughout the Northern Territory.

We are seeking to employ an experienced Civil Supervisor to supervise the on-site activities of our civil projects. Our current project is located on the Plenty Highway about 400km North East of Alice Springs.

The successful applicant will have a choice of a 3 and 1 or 2 and 1 roster.

FIFO or DIDO Position

Demonstrated ability to manage projects in accordance with specifications, budgets and required timeframes.

Experience in Civil Construction road building and quarry activity

Appropriate trade qualifications and/or experience, preferably as an operator and/or operator supervisor

Previous supervisory experience, and willingness and ability to oversee and direct staff to achieve required outcomes

Solid understanding of and ability to implement Workplace Health and Safety legislation requirements.

Demonstrated understanding of maintenance / operational requirements of plant and equipment

Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, numeracy skills, and organisation skills

Good IT/computer/technology/GPS skills and ability to utilise on the job

Punctual and reliable approach to work hours.

Current HR licence

Willingness and ability to work away from home, in a work camp situation
