YOU:

You are an engaging, passionate and experienced dance teacher who thrives in front of a classroom. You bring energy and structure to your lessons and love seeing students light up through movement and performance.

You’re confident delivering curriculum-based dance programs in primary and/or secondary schools, enjoy planning creative routines, and are passionate about empowering children through performing arts.

You're driven by purpose, love working with kids, and are excited to produce concerts that bring entire school communities together in celebration.

You have:

A minimum of 5 years’ dance experience

A formal dance/education qualification

Experience teaching children in classroom or studio settings

An understanding of the ACARA (Australian Curriculum) or a willingness to learn

Strong communication and classroom management skills

Confidence working independently and managing your own schedule

ROLE INCLUDES:

As a School Dance Program Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

Delivering weekly school dance classes aligned to ACARA outcomes

Planning choreography and content for an end-of-term or end-of-year school concert

Creating a positive and engaging learning environment

Managing class behaviour and adapting to different age groups and schools

Collaborating with schools and studio leadership to deliver a high-quality program

Providing a fun, memorable dance experience for students and the wider school community
