Key Responsibilities:

· Construct, install and repair structural frameworks and fittings, particularly for aluminium-framed windows, doors and related building elements in residential and commercial settings.

· Interpret and work from architectural drawings, plans and specifications to determine materials, measurements and construction methods.

· Measure, cut, shape and assemble aluminium and construction materials to support the installation of custom aluminium products.

· Prepare and frame wall openings and surrounds to accommodate window and door systems.

· Install prefabricated and custom aluminium frames, ensuring alignment, level and structural integrity.

· Inspect completed installations and frameworks to verify compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

· Maintain a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all OH&S guidelines and site protocols.

· Collaborate with glaziers, site managers and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery and quality standards.

· Operate and maintain hand and power tools used in framing, fixing and structural carpentry work.

· Assist in ongoing construction and renovation projects by providing skilled carpentry support for aluminium fixture integration.

Skills & Qualifications:

· Certificate III or higher in Carpentry.

· At least one year of proven experience as a carpenter, preferably involving aluminium framing, window and door installations.

· Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and plans.

· Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.

· Good time management and organisational skills, capable of managing tasks independently or as part of a team.

· Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour in varied site conditions.
