Real Estate & Development Lawyer | Sydney
We’re currently working with a top-tier Real Estate and Development team seeking a talented lawyer to join their Sydney office. This is a rare opportunity to work on some of the most sophisticated and high-profile property transactions in the Australian market, spanning commercial, infrastructure, and mixed-use developments.

The Opportunity
You’ll be joining a national team and collaborating across offices on matters that are shaping key sectors including government, healthcare, infrastructure, media, and finance. The team is known for its technical strength, collaborative culture, and exposure to complex transactions.
In this role, you will advise on:

• Large-scale commercial and urban development projects, including build-to-rent, office towers, industrial and renewable energy assets
• Capital transactions across all asset classes—commercial, retail, industrial, residential, and hospitality
• Sale and leaseback arrangements and complex leasing matters
• Real estate components of corporate transactions including M&A
• Structuring of capital partnerships—joint ventures, co-ownerships, and management agreements
• General real estate matters such as subdivisions, securities enforcement, and financing structures

What You Bring

• 2–5+ years’ experience in real estate or property law from a leading law firm or in-house legal team
• Strong technical capability in real estate acquisitions, disposals, development, or leasing
• Ability to manage matters autonomously while collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients
• A commitment to ongoing development, including participation in business development initiatives
