Comverge Networks is an experienced systems integrator and we design, construct, operate and manage advanced networks which deliver telecommunications, entertainment, and security requirements to our clients across many industries. We are looking for an experienced permanent part-time Accounts/Payroll Officer (i.e. 22.8 hours per week) to join our enthusiastic team based in Boronia, Melbourne.

The Role

The Accounts/Payroll Officer will work closely with the Finance Manager and provide accounts and payroll support to the Comverge team. Key responsibilities include:

Accounts payable management

Accounts receivable management

Payroll, superannuation, Workcover, payroll tax, LSL, STP (single touch payroll)

Reconciliations

End of month journals and reporting

Monthly payments

BAS reporting

Assistance with setting up jobs in our job management system from time to time

General administrative duties.

About You

The successful candidate will:

Demonstrate experience of at least two years in a similar role

Be experienced with current MYOB accounting package

Have a positive attitude

Be a team player and self-motivated

Posses high level communication and interpersonal skills

Be highly organised with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

Have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word and Excel would be an advantage.

Hold a current Victorian driver’s licence
