We have a permanent fulltime position available for a highly motivated individual in a dynamic family owned & operated company with over 70 years in the pre-cast concrete industry. We value collaboration & growth and what each employee brings to the workplace. This role is designed to suit someone who takes pride in their work, takes initiative and likes to work in a team with an interest in design, and testing. This is a hands-on role that requires physical labour and attention to detail to ensure the highest quality product is achieved for our diverse clientele.
What You’ll Do:
Assist in product testing, Cylinder, Load, Hydrostatic & Core testing
Record results & assist with product standard audits.
Complete Audit compliance records
Coordinate work orders and communicate progress with section leaders & the sales team.
Keep accurate records of production, job details, test results and any issues encountered for both internal & external reference.
Assist in manufacturing products including:
Cleaning & oiling of moulds
Placing of reinforcement & steel bar within the mould
Concrete pouring & setting procedures
Use of hand & power tools
Operate overhead crane to move moulds, disassemble & move products
Manufacture a broad range of pre-cast products to suit rail, transport, civil, mining & farming solutions.
Concrete patching
What We’re Looking For:
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good physical fitness to perform manual labour tasks
A positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn new skills
Punctuality & reliability
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
The ability to take initiative.
Previous experience working in a construction, trade or manufacturing environment.
Ability to use basic hand and power tools
Valid Forklift Licence would be an advantage

Work hours: Monday-Thursday 7am-4pm & Friday 7am-2pm
No weekend or Public Holiday work required.
Mandatory close down period of 2-3 weeks over the Christmas/New Year period.
Travel bonuses for employees outside the Griffith area.
Christmas bonuses for all Fulltime (non-probation) employees
