About the Firm

Our client is a highly regarded legal and regulatory advisory firm with multiple offices that specialises in competition law and complex disputes. The partners of the firm have all come from large top-tier and international law firms.

About the Position

Due to increased work, our client has created a new role for a Litigation Solicitor or Associate. In the role, you will work for ex-top tier Partners and act for large corporate and government clients (including regulators). You will act on regulatory and commercial disputes, investigations, commissions of inquiry, class actions, and other large-scale disputes.

About You

You will be an experienced litigator at the Solicitor or Associate level who enjoys advocacy and attending court. You will be bright, energetic and a self-starter.

You are happy to work in a smaller commercial law firm without the politics and bureaucracy of the big firms. You will also be happy to be mentored by an award winning ex-top tier partner.

Qualifications

We are seeking someone with:

1 to 5 years of post-admission experience.

Strong academics.

Previous experience in commercial litigation. Ideally, you will have experience with large complex litigation matters and/or regulatory disputes.

We will also look at insurance litigators with strong academics.

You do not need prior top-tier law firm experience, but you must be willing to learn and are happy to regularly attend court.
