The Victorian Psychology Clinic (VPC) is a vibrant and expanding private practice, home to a warm and supportive team of 20 contracted psychologists. We're excited to welcome another experienced psychologist to join our growing team.

Now operating across two convenient locations – Essendon and Moonee Ponds, VPC provides a welcoming, professional environment with a strong focus on delivering evidence-based care to adolescents and adults. We work with a wide range of high-prevalence concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, and more. We also welcome clinicians with special interests in eating disorders, neurodivergence, and couples counselling.

Since opening in July 2023, VPC has grown quickly, now offering 11 beautifully appointed consulting rooms. Both locations are within walking distance of train stations and surrounded by ample all-day parking. VPC is co-directed by Clinical Psychologists, Dr Shara Granger and Melanie McInneny, who are passionate about creating a practice grounded in clinical excellence, ethical care, and team connection.

About the Role

This is a flexible contracting position (1–4 days per week), ideal for a psychologist who is:

Experienced: 3+ years of postgraduate experience (or 2+ years for clinicians with an eating disorder focus)

Client-centred: Committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care

Collaborative: Interested in being part of a supportive and evolving team

Independent: Comfortable working autonomously within a structured, well-supported framework

We have a steady flow of referrals and flexible scheduling options, allowing you to build a caseload that aligns with your interests and capacity.

Requirements

3+ years postgraduate experience as a psychologist (or 2+ years with eating disorder focus)

Full AHPRA registration

Working with Children Check

Eligibility to provide services under Medicare

Professional indemnity and public liability insurance

ABN, or willingness to obtain one
