Your Impact:
As full time Employment Development Manager, you will play a key role for overseeing compliance paperwork for all NDIS participants, managing the waitlist of potential clients, working with teams to assist people into employment, meeting key performance indicators (KPls), sourcing employment opportunities for people with disabilities, and ensuring all activities align with the values of the organisation.
What you'll do:
- Oversee and ensure all compliance paperwork for NDIS participants is accurate and up-to-date.
- Maintain records in accordance with NDIS standards and organisational policies.
- Manage the Expression of interest of potential clients, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to facilitate the onboarding of new clients.
- Manage and complete all NDIS report requests.
- Ensure all internal services are covered by Good Sammy Mentors.
- Reduce the number of cancelled shifts by Good Sammy.
- Work collaboratively with teams to assist individuals into meaningful employment.
- Develop and implement strategies to meet employment-related KPls.
- Identify and source new employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential employers and community partners.
- Ensure all activities and interactions reflect the values and mission of the organisation.
- Promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Provide leadership and support to team members.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.
- Develop and implement training programs for staff.
- Manage budgets and resources effectively.
What you'll bring:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in disability services or a related field or extensive experience in NDIS compliance and employment services.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work within the values and mission of the organisation.
