About the Opportunity
We're on the lookout for a Trainer with Lived Experience and Recovery journey to deliver impactful training programs shaped by real-life experience. You'll work closely with our Training and Development Manager and other subject matter experts to deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences to Wellways staff and our integrated care partners. Sharing your personal lived experience and recovery story-where appropriate-will be a key part of enriching our training content and helping others on their journey
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate lived experience-based training sessions across the organisation
- Complete post-training admin using our Learning Management System (Workday)
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert in lived experience, working with Learning Designers to refine and improve our training content
This role will allow you to work from home and the office. If you're passionate about using your story to empower others and want to play a part in delivering meaningful, recovery-oriented training, we encourage you to apply!
You will also need:
- Qualifications in vocational education, a related field, or equivalent industry experience
- Strong understanding of Recovery-Oriented and Trauma-Informed Practicesfairfile
- A current, valid Driver's Licence and ability to travel as needed
- Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Right to Work within Australia
- National Police Check (issued within the last 12 months)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
