Senior Business Process Analyst – NSW Government

• Location: Sydney CBD + WFH (hybrid)
• Pay Rate: $808 per day
• Hours: Monday – Friday, 38 hours per week
• Assignment Length: Anticipated 6 months with potential to extend

Key Accountabilities:

• Analyse & document current & future-state process using various techniques (interviews, workshops, document review etc.)
• Facilitate & lead workshops to co-develop policies, procedures, guidelines & process maps & gap analyses
• Collaborate closely with business & enabling functions to ensure all operational documentation is accurate & up to date
• Perform end-to-end impact assessments across systems, data flows and interdependent processes
• Deliver insightful data analysis and reporting to identify opportunities for process improvement

Essential Criteria:

• Proven experience as a Business Process Analyst, ideally within Government or regulated industries
• Strong skills across the MS Office Suite, including Visio, Word, Excel, Access, SharePoint & Project
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC) and a structured approach to continuous improvement
• A background in insurance or workers’ compensation is highly regarded

Desirable Qualifications:

• PMP, Prince2, CAPM, Six Sigma Certification or equivalent practical experience
• Ability to hit the ground running & build rapport with stakeholders across the business
