About the role

Turfworks Group is seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Hervey Bay, Queensland. This full-time role is essential in supporting our road transport operations, delivering turf to customers across the local region.

Turfworks Group are a long-standing thriving family owned operated business based in the Hervey Bay and Fraser Coast region dedicated to delivery top quality turf products to our valued customers. Turfworks Group produces and delivers instant quality turf products daily (Monday - Friday) to Civil, Landscapers, golf courses and residential properties.

We are an ever growing business who pride ourselves on quality and customer service, supplying turf from Brisbane to Rockhampton and everywhere in between. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join us!

What you'll be doing

Safely operating and maintaining large commercial vehicles such as rigid trucks and semi-trailers

Efficiently loading, unloading and securing cargo

Providing exceptional customer service to our clients

Adhering to all relevant safety, compliance and regulatory requirements

Maintaining detailed logbooks and vehicle inspection records

Supporting the broader transport and logistics team as required

Operating of Farm Machinery

What we're looking for

A current Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence

At least 1 years' experience operating large commercial vehicles

Demonstrated ability to safely manoeuvre and operate heavy machinery

Strong customer service orientation and communication skills

Meticulous attention to detail and record-keeping

Commitment to safety and compliance in all aspects of the role

Current LF Licence (Forklift)
