Lives Lived Well offer a variety of community and residential Alcohol and Other Drug programs throughout Queensland, New South Wales, and South Australia, helping thousands of people every year to navigate AOD related challenges and move forward in life.

Our new 28-bed residential rehabilitation center recently opened in Bundaberg. This facility provides withdrawal support (detox) and residential rehabilitation services in a safe and supportive environment, aimed at promoting lasting change.


Your Opportunity

We are looking for a full time Treatment Facilitator to join our team. The role will undertake case management, AOD counselling, and facilitation of group programs. The salary ranges between $97,000 – 101,000 plus superannuation. We offer salary packaging to increase your take-home pay plus a huge range of discounted products via Perkbox.

What we are looking for

Having experience in the AOD sector- either in community or residential rehabilitation - you will have an open and friendly demeanor with the ability to build relationships across a broad range of people.


Other skills and experience you bring will include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field including Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or similar
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of clinical practices and working effectively within these frameworks
  • High-level record keeping and note taking skills; able to create and develop detailed reports
  • Capacity to provide risk supervision and management including complex and dual diagnosis behavior management
  • Able to think outside the box and offer ideas and suggestions for system and process improvement
  • A calm approach and mature demeanor – along with patience and resilience, and the ability to relate effectively to a range of people, often in times of high-stress and emotion
  • Self-awareness and emotional maturity – you won’t be afraid to ask for support when you need it
  • You’ll self-care – this role can be challenging and it’s important to us that you are at your best, to do your best
