About the role
We are seeking a full time Pathology Collectors/Phlebotomists to join our dedicated team within Mount Lawley, WA. This position will suit self-motivated individuals with a high attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a strong focus on outstanding customer service.
Key qualifications and experience:
1) Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Pathology Collector.
2) Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection or relevant industry experience.
3) Able to work full-time.
4) A proven track record in working in high-pressure environments, delivering efficient service with excellent customer satisfaction.
5) Experience in managing a diverse caseload, for example, able to conduct a wide range pathology collections, able to bleed complex patients across age range and able to manage challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
6) Demonstrated ability to perform work at a substantial level of accountability and responsibility measured by a consistently low rate of recollect.
7) Possesses well developed communication, interpersonal skills resulting in high standard of customer service (internal and external).
8) Demonstrated ability to train, mentor staff and lead changes and initiatives to deliver an excellent pathology collection service that meet the client’s service expectations.
