About the Role: Casual
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Dental Assistant. The Dental Assistant is responsible for assisting clinicians in the provision of clinical duties and will liaise with all clinical and clerical staff to ensure appropriate care is maintained within the Dental Clinic. As a member of the team, you will play an important role in assisting our dental clinicians to provide dental care within the scope of publicly funded dental services.

Mandatory:

• Entitlement to work within Australia

• A Police Check that is current and within 12 months of the issue date

• Provision of valid Working with Children Check

• Provision of an NDIS Worker Screening Check

• Seasonal influenza vaccination of healthcare workers in accordance with Secretary, Department of Health Directions

• Certificate III in Dental Assistant or equivalent badged qualification recognised by the Australian Dental Association

• Excellent written and communication skills

• Good time management and organisational skills

• Demonstrated initiative and able to work as an effective member of a team

• Demonstrated caring and understanding attitude towards patients

• Professional approach to work including the provision of quality customer service

• Accountable for own performance and continually seek to improve own practice standard
