Tier One Fire Protection is looking for a Dry Fire Electrical Apprentice (1st or 2nd Year) to join the team.

Tier One Fire Protection provides specialist fire protection applications, products, service and installation across the building & construction industry and retail sector.

LOCATION

We cover all of Canberra.

THE JOB

In this role, you will be required to assist a Licensed Electrician in the following tasks:

• Installing various types of fire detection and alarm systems.
• Install/rough in of electrical cable and fit off various types of fire detection and warning systems.
• Training on the use of Fire Panels and Various Fire systems.
• Read and follow plans and instructions.
• Service, Repairs, and maintenance.
• Work at heights, working on ladders, scissor lifts and boom lifts.
• Assist other team members as needed.
• Follow all WHS procedures.

As an Apprentice Dry Fire Electrician, you will undertake a formal trade-based apprenticeship in UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.

LICENCES REQUIRED FOR APPRENTICESHIP

• White Card (Preferred but not essential)
• Asbestos Awareness Card (Preferred but not essential)
• Silica Awareness Card (Preferred but not essential)
