About the role

Ultimate Fleet Maintenance PTY LTD is seeking a talented and enthusiastic light vehicle tradesman to join our team in Hemmant, Queensland. This is a full time role providing an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and lead to a full-time apprenticeship for the right candidate in Heavy Vehicle Road Transport. We are looking for a team player with strong attention to detail and great work ethic, committed to ensuring our values to maintain a no-come-back approach. Light Vehicle mechanics who are qualified and looking to upskill are welcomed to apply.

What you'll be doing

Working with a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks, including engine diagnostics, servicing, and replacement of parts

Performing vehicle inspections and identifying potential issues

Ensuring the proper storage and organisation of tools, equipment, and parts

Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients

What we're looking for

Relevant experience in the automotive trades through an apprenticeship

Strong mechanical aptitude and a keen interest in vehicle maintenance and repair

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Good communication and customer service skills

A willingness to learn and a proactive approach to your work

A valid driver's licence and your own reliable transportation
