A leading tech company is on the lookout for 2 Software Engineers to join its high-impact Data Engineering team. In this role, you’ll be developing scalable, high-performance APIs and data pipelines that directly support advanced machine learning and AI capabilities. It’s a fast-paced, technically rewarding environment where your work will help shape intelligent systems used globally.

You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, build, and refine backend services powering real-time data processing, analytics, and AI decision-making.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and implement backend features that power real-time AI systems
• Work within an MLOps-based architecture with tightly integrated microservices
• Deliver clean, scalable, and reliable APIs and backend services
• Embrace and apply test-driven development principles
• Write high-quality, maintainable code with a strong focus on documentation and security
• Engage in Agile development processes (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
• Support continuous improvement through feedback, code reviews, and collaboration
• Troubleshoot performance issues and build systems that thrive under load

What You Bring

• 5–7 years of experience in backend web application development
• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar technical field
• Proficiency in C++ and Python (Django/FastAPI) for production-grade systems, Go experience will also be considered
• Experience with NodeJS or NestJS
• Strong API design skills with a focus on scalability, reliability, and clean architecture
• Familiarity with CI/CD, containerisation (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Excellent debugging, testing, and documentation habits
• Strong communication skills with a collaborative and pragmatic mindset

Nice to Have

• Experience working with machine learning model infrastructure (MLOps)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (especially AWS)
• Familiarity with Git, Jira, and Confluence
• Experience building data-intensive web applications
• Comfortable working in a Linux-first environment
• Bonus if you’ve delivered APIs for SaaS-scale platforms
