The Role:
Due to continued growth of the company, a significant opportunity exists for a Technical Sales Manager to join our team in Sydney and represent our respected and world-renowned UPS product. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for sales and positioning our product across multiple sectors in the market.
The Candidate:
We are seeking a highly motivated sales engineer with a focus on sales activity and desire for high achievement. If you enjoy being out in the market and building relationships with consultants, corporate customers and end users, then this is the ideal position for you. Your sound understanding and experience in the power protection industry will be essential to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage an effective sales strategy to achieve total sales targets.
- Correct positioning and representation of a range of UPS product in the market.
- Actively build strong relationships with consultants, corporate customers and end users, and maintain networks with resellers who represent our range of products.
- Actively explore new market opportunities and applications for the company's products.
- Provide accurate quotations to Consulting Engineers, Electrical Contractors and other clients.
- Prepare tenders, quotations and technical compliance as required.
Candidate requirements:
- Qualification in Electrical Engineering or similar would be an advantage.
- Extensive experience (3 years or more) in the power industry.
- A proven track record of achieving individual sales targets.
- Outstanding communication & presentation skills (both written & oral).
