The position is a part-time role with the opportunity to build hours up and become full-time.

Some of your duties: You will manage a wide range of cases and conditions including -

• Musculoskeletal
• Acute and chronic presentations
• Sports injuries
• Pre and post op orthopaedics
• Work injuries

You will also be involved in -

• Running exercise classes
• Exercise program upgrades for our gym members
• Working directly with surgeons at Peninsula Orthopaedics, assisting with post op cases
• Building relationships with local referrers incl. Specialists, GPs and Personal Trainers

A little bit about us: With a long history of serving the community of the Northern Beaches, Dee Why Parade Physiotherapy became Team8 Physio in 2015, with a major renovation in 2016. In 2020 we joined with Northern Beaches Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Centre and began working together as one team to provide excellent Physiotherapy, Remedial Massage, Pilates, Exercise Rehab Services to our community. Our most recent change took place in 2024 when we closed our Fitness First Dee Why Clinic and opened Team8 Active, our very own 500sqm gym equipped with state of the art Technogym machines, large group exercise rooms, pilates reformers and more.

Requirements:

• Registration with ESSA
• Current first aid certificate
• Public liability and professional indemnity insurance
• Fun, friendly and caring personality
• Additional qualifications such as training in pilates are helpful but are not essential
