About the role
Hands-on role for an experienced technician skilled in diagnostics, servicing, and repairs. Work with modern tools in a busy, high-performing workshop. Tackle breakdowns, engine work, and mentor junior techs. Monday to Friday schedule with optional overtime.

Duties

• Run advanced diagnostics to identify faults fast
• Perform regular servicing to keep vehicles in top shape
• Respond to breakdowns and deliver quick fixes
• Repair engines, brakes, and key mechanical systems
• Maintain accurate job and service records
• Support and guide junior technicians
• Ensure all work meets safety and industry standards
• Collaborate with a skilled workshop team to deliver quality results

Skills and experience

• Proven experience as an automotive or diesel technician
• Strong background in diagnostics, servicing, and mechanical repairs
• Expertise in engine, brake, suspension, and driveline systems
• Confident handling breakdowns and on-the-spot fixes
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Skilled in using diagnostic tools and workshop equipment
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to train and support junior technicians
• Must have a valid driver’s licence
