About the Position:

The Skilled Meat Worker position at Big Meats Queensland involves preparing, processing, and packaging a variety of meat products to meet the business’s high standards. This full-time role requires precision, efficiency, and a passion for delivering quality meat to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Cutting, trimming, and preparing meat cuts to customer and business specifications.

Producing house-made sausages and value-added meat products.

Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Operating and maintaining meat processing equipment.

Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation.

Providing excellent customer service for custom orders.

Requirements:

Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.

Required Qualifications: AQF Certificate III in Meat Processing.

Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a skilled meat worker role.

Proficiency in meat cutting and preparation techniques.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.

Ability to operate meat processing machinery safely.

Strong attention to detail and precision.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Physical stamina for standing and lifting in a fast-paced environment.
