You’ll be joining an established and successful sales team, working within a flexible and autonomous environment where your career can truly thrive.

The Role
As part of the QLD sales team, you will manage an established territory, working directly with retail timber merchants including hardware stores and industrial customers. This includes major retailers like Bunnings and Mitre 10. You will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with existing clients, while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

With a mix of on-the-road autonomy and one meeting a week at the sales office, you’ll enjoy a hybrid work environment. This role is perfect for a self-motivated sales professional looking to take ownership of their territory and contribute to the company’s continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and service.
  • Develop new business opportunities within your territory, identifying growth avenues.
  • Collaborate with the QLD Sales Manager to implement strategies that boost sales performance and meet company targets.
  • Maintain competitive pricing and margins in line with company objectives.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven track record in sales, particularly in account management and business development.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to engage a range of customer segments.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own territory.
  • Familiarity with the building, construction, or design sectors is highly desirable.
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn internal systems.

Remuneration & Benefits

  • Base salary between $95,000 - $120,000 + Super.
  • Fully maintained company vehicle, fuel card, and tolls included.
