About the role

This is a newly created Senior Manager position within a growing tax advisory team in Brisbane. The firm has recently taken on a large volume of new work and is investing heavily in building out its tax capability, particularly in areas such as global minimum tax and cross-border structuring.

You’ll work closely with two highly experienced Partners and lead a team of tax professionals across multiple client groups, ranging from large private businesses to international entities. Your focus will be a mix of complex tax advisory and compliance review, mentoring junior staff, and supporting the growth of emerging service lines.

This firm offers a strong, collaborative culture (evidenced by recent internal survey results well above industry benchmarks), genuine flexibility (1–2 days WFH), and a high level of operational support including a full-time assistant and shared analyst. For the right person, there’s also long-term opportunity to progress into a Director role.

Experience Required

Strong tax experience either in a mid-tier or Big 4 accounting firm

Exposure to large private businesses

CA/CTA/CPA qualified

Excellent communication skills and ability to build client relationships

Experience reviewing work and managing teams
