Our client is a tightly integrated tax and accounting, financial services and advisory firm providing services to a portfolio of professional level clients. On a foundation of revenue exceeding $12m, the Partners have structured for sustainable growth.

The opportunity is presented for an Associate Director or Senior Tax Manager to add impetus to the firm’s growth strategies through further refinement of client engagement strategies and streamlining of operational efficiency.

The appointee will lead a team of CA and CPA tax accountants who will benefit from astute leadership and focused professional development in both technical areas and approaches to building deeper client relationships.

In addition to providing leadership, the Senior Manager will develop close cooperation and affiliation with the practice’s financial services and investment divisions to ensure the delivery of aligned advice to clients.

It is anticipated this senior level appointee will have requisite qualifications and professional experience consistent with:

Chartered or CPA accreditation

A minimum twelve years of experience in Australian tax and advisory practices

Several years in the management, leadership and development of tax and accounting teams

A demonstrable record of establishing and nurturing trusting client relationships

A background in servicing clients ranging from successful private enterprises to astute investors

Business, taxation and superannuation knowledge commensurate with seniority

Financial planning qualifications would be viewed favourably, however not as essential

An operational approach founded on technical excellence and efficiency

Interested parties with experience at Associate Director, Senior Manager or Manager level in Chartered or CPA practices servicing professional and mid-tier clients are encouraged to apply.
