About the role:
We are seeking a Software Support Specialist to join our National Help Desk team. In this Level 1 position within a growing and supportive team, you will provide IT software support and technical advice to customers using our dental equipment software. You will be the first point of contact for software-related enquiries and play a key role in customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Provide phone and remote software support for Dentsply Sirona dental products.
Perform software installations, pre-installs, diagnostics, fault repairs, and migrations.
Log and resolve help desk tickets, escalating where necessary.
Maintain up-to-date technical and procedural knowledge through ongoing learning.
Collaborate with the broader support team and provide excellent service to internal and external stakeholders.
Gain exposure to a wide range of responsibilities, from hands-on troubleshooting to system upgrades and customer follow-up.
Requirements:
1+ year experiences in Level 1 Help Desk or similar IT support role.
Experience with software installations, LANs, SQL, and PC firewalls.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
Tertiary qualifications in IT or a related field desirable.
Experience in dental technology and knowledge of Sidexis software is a plus.
