A people-focused IT role in a creative, tech-driven company
Lightmoves Group is looking for an experienced and proactive IT Support professional to be the go-to tech problem-solver across our team.
Based full-time at our Noble Park office, you’ll help configure and support devices, keep systems running smoothly, and assist over 100 users across our group of businesses in three states.
About the Role
In this varied support role, you’ll be responsible for:
Setting up and maintaining laptops, phones, and user accounts
Responding to help desk requests across Windows , Mac, Android & IOS environments
Providing first-line technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
Troubleshooting and diagnosing problems, and implementing effective solutions
Supporting users across Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, etc.)
Performing proactive system maintenance and optimisation
Assisting with VPN, firewall, and 3CX VoIP system support
Supporting basic web tasks (e.g., CMS or intranet maintenance)
Maintaining accurate records of all IT support activities
Contributing to the ongoing improvement of IT support processes and documentation
Providing training and guidance to users on IT systems and best practices
You’ll be the friendly, knowledgeable face of IT—helping people get back to work quickly and painlessly.
About You
You’re confident with Office 365, a natural problem-solver, and comfortable supporting a range of users and systems. You’ve got
2+ years’ experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of Office 365 and device configuration
Familiarity with Windows, Android, IOS and macOS environments
Basic understanding of LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and VoIP systems
Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive mindset
Strong communication skills and a helpful, service-oriented approach
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Experience supporting common hardware and software applications
Familiarity with IT support best practices and documentation
(Bonus) Experience with CMS or web tools
(Bonus) Knowledge of virtualisation technologies
