Career Opportunity:

Legeneering is currently in search of experienced Project to join our seconded team on a 12 months contract, supporting a Tier 1 oil and gas client.The Project Planner will be proactive and detail-oriented with Primavera P6 experience to support the planning and scheduling of a major FPSO drydock campaign. In this role, you will work closely with the Project Engineer, Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, and Shipyard teams to develop and maintain integrated schedules, monitor workfront readiness, and ensure alignment with critical path and dock availability.

Responsibilities:

As a Project Planner, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

Develop and maintain the Master Schedule in Primavera P6, capturing engineering, procurement, fabrication, and execution activities.

Collaborate with engineering and execution teams to identify schedule drivers, interdependencies, and critical path items.

Monitor progress and update schedules throughout the project lifecycle, providing lookaheads and key milestone tracking.

Work with the Project Engineer to integrate workfront readiness and drydock methodology into planning assumptions.

Assist in identifying schedule risks and implementing mitigation strategies to reduce impact on drydock execution.

Track and report on schedule performance, identifying delays and recommending corrective actions.

Coordinate with subcontractors, dockyard personnel, and internal teams to ensure schedule alignment.

Support planning aspects of Scope Change, Variation Work, and emergent activity integration.

Generate schedule reports and dashboards to support stakeholder engagement and project reviews.

Qualifications:

· Trade Qualification or degree in Mechanical, Structural, Marine, or related Engineering discipline (Desirable).

· 5+ years of project planning/scheduling experience, including use of Primavera P6 in large-scale projects.

· Offshore Oil & Gas or Marine Project background preferred.

· Participate in company HSEQ programs

· Ability to demonstrate an understanding of cultural awareness, cultural safety, cultural respect, sensitivity and respect of issues as it relates to Aboriginal communities and individuals
