About the Position

The primary responsibility of this position is to work as part of the maintenance team on a range of activities involved in the horticultural maintenance and upkeep of the greens at Collier Park Golf Course. The Golf Course Groundsperson will perform general course maintenance duties including mowing, bunker care, fairway care and greens care and participate in relevant course development or landscape project work.

To be successful in this position you will need to demonstrate:

• A certificate in Horticulture/ Turf Management
• Completion of a Pesticide Safety Course - desirable
• Experience working in a similar role
• Sound working knowledge of turf preparation and maintenance
• Working knowledge of fertilizing and weed spraying requirements
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of Work Health and Safety requirements as they relate to this position
• Current 'C' Class Driver's Licence
