We are seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, organised and professional Sportsturf specialist to lead and manage team members and contractors in the maintenance and construction of Ringwood Golf Course, with a focus on quality, innovation and continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Team Leader Golf and Sportsfields this role is part of the leadership team that is responsible for the maintenance of Councils 2 golf courses (Ringwood and Dorset) and 46 Sportsfields. Ringwood Golf is a highly regarded public golf course that hosts in excess of 90,000 rounds of golf annually.
To be successful you will need to have:
- Experience in fostering a positive, empowering & participatory organisational team culture.
- Demonstrated experience leading, managing, and coaching a team in the achievement of organisational goals and objectives.
- Demonstrated experience in Turf Management or similar field.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding in contemporary turf management practices and irrigation systems.
- Demonstrated experience in major Sportsturf construction.
- Sound understand of OHS and risk management principles
- Be highly organised and motivated
