Motion Group is a family-owned and operated company in the Construction and Maintenance Industries specialising in Project Construction, Fabrication, and Maintenance for the commercial, agriculture, and mining sectors. We specialise in all aspects of these industries providing project management and supervision, fabrication, structural and mechanical installation, and site maintenance works.

The Role

We are searching for experienced Structural Steel Erection Supervisors who will be responsible for the supervision of our current and upcoming project works in Newcastle, the Hunter and Greater Sydney area. Our supervisor must be hands on and willing to be part of the installation team. The successful applicant will be rewarded with a competative package including a company vehicle & phone allowance.

Necessary & Preferred Requirements, Qualifications & Experience:

Structural Steel assembly experience is necessary.

Must be willing to work away from if needed to accomodate project requirements

Must be a self-starter with strong leadership skills and the ability to self manage personnel and projects.

Current Australian driver's license (C Class), (HR/MR Class preferred).

Construction White Card.

High Risk Licence - Intermediate Rigging, C6, EWP

Working at Heights Training.

Scissor lift ticket (Yellow card)

Trade background (perfered) and relevant construction experience.

Previous Supervisory Experience is essential.

Interpret and execute drawings whether mark out, assembly or installation

Experience in engaging with clients and employees ensuring understanding and compliance of WHS Regulations, Acts and Workers Compensation legislation
