Project Manager
Lead critical height safety projects – Sydney-based with occasional travel

Deliver safety-first projects that protect lives and drive industry standards.

National team, genuine career paths, and leadership support.

Autonomy, variety, and the satisfaction of delivering quality outcomes.

About Anchor Safe

We're Anchor Safe — Australia's leading height safety specialists. We audit, design, supply, install, certify and maintain compliant height safety systems that protect lives and reduce risk. With offices in Albury (our head office), Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, we work with facility managers, asset owners, government and contractors across the country.

Our Sydney Operations team is growing fast, and we're looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee key installation projects and coordinate works across metro and regional sites.

About the Role

As Project Manager, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of commercial and government installation projects — from planning through to delivery and client handover. You'll manage timelines, contractors, materials, safety, and budgets while keeping communication clear and stakeholders informed. You'll work closely with our Operations, Design, and Installation teams to ensure every system is installed correctly, safely and to spec.

Working hours between: 6.30am – 4.30pm

Project types: Range of Height Safety Installation Projects

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity based out of our Sydney office, with occasional site visits and travel as required.

A Day in the Life

No two days are the same — but here's how yours might look:

You'll start by reviewing your project list, checking in with installers onsite, confirming delivery of key materials, and adjusting timelines as needed. You'll liaise with clients, provide updates on project milestones, and ensure all compliance documentation (like SWMS and site-specific safety plans) is in place.

Onsite visits may be required — to attend pre-start meetings, inspect progress, or resolve issues directly. Back at the office, you'll prepare project documentation, update reporting tools, coordinate trades, and confirm variations and approvals.

Throughout the week, you'll join internal meetings with our design and install teams, resolve technical questions, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our project delivery systems.

What You'll Need to Succeed

We’re seeking a proactive and experienced Project Manager with the following:

Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 3–5 years experience managing projects in construction, trade services, or height safety.

Proven ability to deliver multiple projects on time and within budget.

Confident in interpreting drawings and construction documentation; familiarity with site operations.

Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, trades, and internal teams.

Construction White Card and valid driver's licence are essential. Work Safely at Heights and EWP tickets are a bonus.

Comfortable using digital tools and project management software to track timelines and reporting.

Practical leadership experience, strong initiative, and a calm, solutions-focused mindset.

Why Join Anchor Safe?

At Anchor Safe, you're not just managing projects — you're helping protect lives and drive national safety standards. We back our people with strong systems, flexible thinking, and leadership that listens. You'll have autonomy in your work, support from a highly skilled team, and real opportunities to step up as we grow. If you're looking for a role where what you do matters, and where no one is just a number — you'll fit right in.
