We are seeking a practical, reliable and self-motivated Grounds and Maintenance Person to care for and maintain the Junior School campus. This standalone role is responsible for the day-to-day upkeep, presentation and safety of the site, ensuring our facilities support a safe and welcoming learning environment for students, staff and families.

The role includes groundskeeping, minor building maintenance, playground inspections, event support, and management of maintenance-related procurement. It requires the ability to work independently, communicate effectively with staff and contractors, and uphold the Christian ethos of the College.

What we are looking for:

Demonstrated experience in groundskeeping and/or general maintenance

Sound knowledge of landscaping, repairs, and safe work practices

The ability to take an objective approach to challenges and effectively use initiative

Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude

Current certifications (or willingness to obtain):

Chemical Handling/Spray Certificate

Conduct Operational Inspection of Park Facilities Certificate

Working With Children Check

First Aid Certificate

Experience in procurement, inventory management, or working in a school environment would be beneficial.
