About You
You are a multiskilled individual with strong interpersonal, listening and communication skills. You have great attention to detail. The ideal balance for you is to be able to work autonomously on tasks and also collaborate and support others within the team. You consider yourself a fast learner and also know your way around computers specifically MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook. While not necessary, having some experience in an inventory management system (ERP) would be advantageous. You may have some experience in cash collection (vending machines or arcade). You have a reasonable grasp of basic hand tool use and enjoy being solutions oriented. You don't enjoy sitting idle, always looking for something to do and the fast-paced nature of work energizes you. In your previous roles, you have enjoyed developing your skills to continuously enhance your productivity. You are passionate in getting things right the first time.
About the Role
You will be part of the field operations team. You will have responsibility for maintaining ZAX Amusement machines at customer sites to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. This includes following run sheets efficiently, recording machine data, restocking and executing theme changes, adhering to cash handling policies, conducting basic machine maintenance as directed, and maintaining cleanliness for a welcoming appearance.
· Travel from HQ base in Springvale to a large variety of sites, including but not limited to cinemas, hotels, play centres and other entertainment venues.
· Stock delivery, set up and stock control of prize machines and toy redemption machines.
· Basic maintenance and repairs, including changing claws in skill tester crane machines, clearing coin jams, etc.
· Cleaning machines in venue to a high standard, including detailing inside the machines to avoid build-up of dust and other contaminants.
· General stock control of prizes (warehouse, mobile and machines).
· Noting any service requirements for the service team to attend to, and subsequent logging of such tasks.
· Suggesting and implementing new prize lines to ensure machines are kept fresh and exciting for our customers.
· Building rapport with our current and new external stakeholders in the form of venue managers and staff where machines are housed.
· Testing of machines on site to ensure all games are in good condition, with no faults, errors, or loose/faulty parts.
· Completing coin/cash collections and returning collected funds to Springvale base.
· From time to time assist with transportation, installation, and removal of machines.
Selection criteria
We welcome applications from individuals with different industry experience. There are some essential criteria that you need in order to properly perform your duties, which are listed below:
Strong English communication skills. Both written and verbal.
Basic hand tool skills
MS Office Word and Excel
Strong safe working practices / knowledge and hazard awareness
Able to lift and move items (within health & safety guidelines)
Current Australian Driver’s Licence essential.
Unrestricted work rights in Australia
Additional Criteria – Desirable but not essential
· Experience in collecting, counting and reconciling cash.
· Experience in Arcade machine / Vending machine / Family Entertainment Centres.
· Experience with an inventory management system (ERP)
