The Role
The HARNESS Program Coordinator role’s purpose is to achieve the projects mission to deliver an industry and workplace-focused, Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) awareness and prevention program for construction workers.
The project centres around awareness as a pilot project addressing DFV and gendered abuse in the construction industry, with critical clinical support offered or referrals to appropriate services as required. The HARNESS Program Coordinator will play a fundamental role in the development, delivery and coordination of the HARNESS project across South Brisbane to Gold Coast.
The HARNESS Program Coordinator will be responsible for promoting and leading change toward positive and respectful behaviours within the construction industry. This will be affected by forming strategic partnerships, supporting the development of a program logic materials and resources, measuring outcomes and effectiveness, completing brief intervention with members of the construction industry that are help-seeking, working with a co-facilitator to deliver direct client interfacing toolbox sessions and working alongside the team to progress referrals and client interventions.
The HARNESS Program Coordinator ensures that DFV best practice and evidence bases are maintained and progressed in the delivery of this project.
Salary and Benefits
SCHADS Level 6 ($53.84 p/h) | Full-Time (38 Hours Per Week) | $106387.84 annually
Temporary contract available until January 2026
Salary Packaging up to $15,900 (superannuation can be paid in addition to this, subject to any ATO limit if any).

Experience and Qualifications
Please note, roles above a SCHADS Level 4.1 require completed or working towards tertiary qualifications at a bachelors/undergraduate level or higher. Roles above a SCHADS Level 5.1 require completed tertiary qualifications at a bachelors/undergraduate level or higher.
Tertiary qualification in counselling, social work, psychology, or human services (alongside relevant experience) received from a recognised university
Potential Start Dates
This role is available to start on:
May 19th 2025
We have set start dates for new team members so that they can undertake our supportive induction process with our Practice and Development Lead and Risk & Culture Officer. This process allows new team members to have set time to learn more about our organisation, our practice frameworks and set up all equipment and logins.
