The Role
The QPS DFV Programs Team Leader will support the Collaborative Partnerships Director to lead, manage and develop the QPS DFV Specialist team members to achieve organisational objectives and performance benchmarks and sustain a culture where excellence, continuous improvement, training, skills development and innovation are priorities.
Provide management, recruitment oversight, support and mentoring to the QPS Co-Engagement and Embedded workers team to effectively undertake their roles, including regular supervision of team member directly and annual performance reviews, diminished performance reviews if necessary and planning.
Provide phone and face to face crisis support, advocacy, information, and referral to people who are experiencing Domestic and Family Violence when required
Liaise with other service providers regarding possibilities for collaboration in service delivery.
Work in partnership with QPS to share learnings across organisations in the spirit of continuous improvement and learning.
Salary and Benefits
SCHADS Level 7.1 ($58.23p/h) | Full-Time (38 Hours Per Week) | $115,062.48 annually
Temporary contract – this contract is a 9 month backfill contract
Salary Packaging up to $15,900 (superannuation can be paid in addition to this, subject to any ATO limit if any).

Experience and Qualifications
This role requires qualifications in social work, psychology, or human services. As well as demonstrated experience and comprehensive knowledge of Domestic and Family Violence, and its effect on women, children and the wider community.
This role would also benefit from demonstrated experience and ability in program development and stakeholder engagement

This role is available to start on:
April 7th
April 28th
We have set start dates for new team members so that they can undertake our supportive induction process with our Practice and Development Lead and Risk & Culture Officer. This process allows new team members to have set time to learn more about our organisation, our practice frameworks and set up all equipment and logins.
