We are looking for our next high-performing Senior Asset Finance Broker to join the Yakka Finance team.

Want the ability to free up your time by having two of your very own dedicated support assistants to allow you to write even larger volumes and become one of the top brokers in the country?

With the right existing skillset, positive attitude, and work ethic to win in your team this is a role you can earn above $300k+ if you are a high performer. The bonus structure is very transparent and catered towards brokers that are high performers over low performers.

Yakka Finance is already an awarded, growing, and well-respected boutique commercial asset finance brokerage based in North Sydney with a great reputation. We focus on assisting small to medium businesses secure the finance they need to purchase assets (trucks, vehicles, machinery, equipment) within Australia.

We are searching for a Senior Asset Finance Broker to complete the Yakka Finance team and add to our high performing culture.

As a Senior Asset Finance Broker, you will have to already be writing volume in your current role. The role will come with two full-time assistants supporting you in assessing, structuring, and securing finance approvals and handling all of your settlements for our customers. This frees up your time to start to grow your client base even further.

We have great relationships with businesses in industries such as Trades, Construction, Heavy Transport, Earthmoving, Agriculture, Manufacturing, Forestry, and much more.

About the role:

This full-time role would suit someone who is already highly skilled in asset finance, is energetic and high-performing broker who is wanting to write volume.

Two successful teams within the business are already exceeding this volume every year and we are looking for another high performer to join our brokerage to complete the team. We will always be a small business filled with good-quality brokers so they can write volume and master their craft long term.

Daily responsibilities include:

Writing deals with your two support assistants

Servicing your own referral partners and existing clients

On the phone with small business owners, helping them secure the right finance for their purchases

Preparing credit submissions to all of our lending panel

Investing time in your team to function well

Collating the key items with your team secure approvals for clients

Developing a great understanding of each bank's credit policies to secure the right approval with the right financier

Collecting and analysing financials

Knowledge in financing trucks, machinery, motor vehicles, and a whole range of other assets for business owners require across Australia

Assist in structuring and submitting quality finance applications for our clients to a wide range of banks and lenders in collaboration with the team

Average deal size $25k - $1M

About you:

Must be writing at least over $1m in NAF a month already to be considered (or reasons as to why not)

Very Driven to be successful in their career as an Asset Finance broker - we build teams around our brokers

Positive person that backs themselves

Already has existing referral partners and clients

Has to be competitive and enjoys winning

Great at building relationships and has existing relationships

Have a high emphasis on supporting the customer when it comes to credit assessment and finance approvals

Great computer skills including Outlook & Excel

Ability to adapt and build rapport dealing with a wide range of people

Take pride in your work

Knowledgeable on your assets such as Motor Vehicles, Trucks, and Heavy Machinery (advantageous but not essential)

Good problem-solving skills and a high attention to detail
