Our Awaba Waste Management facility is seeking experienced Site Attendants to join their team. You will be responsible for assisting the Site Coordinator in the day-to-day operational management of all aspects of the facility.
You will have the opportunity to undertake a range of functions including Tip Hand, Reuse Centre Operator, Labourer, Gatekeeper, Transfer Station Attendant, Hook Lift Truck Operator, Plant Operator to ensure the sites operational performance achieves or exceeds compliance requirements.

As one of our key community facing roles, we are seeking a customer focused individual with a passion for Waste Services. You will bring high energy and commitment to ensuring effective and efficient waste services are provided to our customers. You will enjoy being in the outdoors, interacting with the community and have strong communication skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Reporting to the Awaba Waste Management Facility Site Coordinator, you will have:
High level of skill in operating plant and equipment is essential for this position
Hold a current MR driver licence and WorkCover General Induction Certificate
You will stand out from the crowd with your general knowledge of landfill site operations
You are a reliable team player who prides themselves on completing their tasks efficiently and to a high standard
You will have an understanding of Work Health Safety Policy principles
Most of all you welcome any challenge with a positive work ethic and a 'can-do' attitude!

This position provides:
Competitive salary from $32.34 to $37.58 per hour
Rostered weekend shifts attracting penalty rates
Industry-leading 12 per cent superannuation
Enterprise Agreement pay increases apply
Commencing salary set in line with skills and experience with annual reviews available to support movement through the salary range
Adverse working conditions allowance
38-hour working week with nine-day fortnight
4 additional concessional leave days after 12 months service
4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% leave loading
