Client:

My client is a modern chartered accounting firm in the CBD that has been established for over 10 years. Having become a reputable name in the accounting, tax and virtual CFO sector, they have established a large and complex clientele through growing and developing their client’s business and their business interests. Equally, their approach on staff development and progression is no different. The role:

You will be working closely with various SMEs, start-ups, high net-worth individuals, SMSFs, international subsidiaries and SGEs with December year end.

As an Intermediate or Senior Accountant you will have:

Regular contact with your own clients

Prepare and review BAS, FBT, tax returns and financials for companies, trusts, partnerships, individuals

Exposure to a range of tax issues including Div7A, CGT, small business concessions, GST, payroll tax

Management accounting and reporting requirements for clients

Assist manager with research on advisory matters

Mentoring junior staff.

The candidate:

Approximately 2 years or more professional experience in an Australian accounting firm

Relevant tertiary qualifications

CA or CPA qualified or upon completion

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

A driven and enthusiastic can-do attitude
