About the role

We are seeking an experienced Storeperson to join our logistics team at Absorb Environmental Solutions' warehouse facility in Wacol, Queensland. This full-time role is essential in maintaining the efficient and organised functioning of our busy distribution centre. As the Storeperson, you will play a crucial part in our organisation's ability to deliver high-quality products and services to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving, unpacking and inspecting incoming stock deliveries to ensure accuracy and quality
• Accurately picking, packing and dispatching customer orders using a range of materials handling equipment
• Maintaining the warehouse in a clean, safe and organised condition
• Assisting with inventory control and cycle counting procedures
• Providing exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of warehouse operations and systems

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Storeperson or similar role in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency
• Proficiency in the use of materials handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and trolleys
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with team members and customers
• A keen eye for problem-solving and a willingness to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• A current forklift licence and manual drivers' licence is essential
