About the Roles

We are on the lookout for Full-Time Chefs to join our kitchen teams at The Boathouse Rose Bay Cafe, The Boathouse Balmoral and The Boathouse Shelly Beach. As a Chef you will be responsible for delivering an elevated food and dining experience to our guests. As a Chef at The Boathouse Group, here are just some of the things you will get up to:

Delivering on-trend, relevant, seasonal food offerings from the kitchen;

Effective stock management including but not limited to; ordering, receipting, storing (including best practice cellar management) and stock rotation;

Supporting effective people practices including, but not limited to; the training and development of junior chefs on the relevant section;

Assisting in the ongoing maintenance of all food offerings and their delivery from the section of the kitchen.

About You

To be the perfect addition to our team, you will have experience as a Chef, working in a busy hospitality environment. You will also:

Hold a qualification in professional cookery (Certificate III) or similar from a recognised training institute or international equivalent;

Have a confident and can-do attitude;

Be friendly, approachable and genuine;

Have a passion for well-executed food;

Be a team player with a collaborative working style.
