About the Position

The primary responsibility of this position is to work as the Group Lader on a range of activities involved in the arboricultural maintenance and upkeep of the City's trees within Parks, Reserves, Streetscapes, Natural Areas, and other City property located in the City of South Perth.

To be successful in this position you will need to demonstrate:

• Certificate II in Horticulture, Arboriculture or Parks and Gardens
• Significant experience in a similar position in Horticulture or Arboriculture, with the ability to use various materials and specialised techniques
• Sound knowledge of Work Health and Safety requirements
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Current 'MR' Class Driver's Licence
• Chainsaw operation accreditation
• Current Basic Worksite Traffic Management certificate
