Experienced Security Alarm Technician – Field Technician Role
Location: South Australia (Operations Hub: Mawson Lakes)
Position: Full-Time

We’re currently seeking a skilled and experienced Security Technician to join our team. This is a full-time role suited to someone with a solid background in electronic security or relevant technical industries who’s looking for long-term stability and ongoing career development in a growing business.
What You’ll Do:
Attend our Mawson Lakes base daily before travelling to project sites
Install, service, and maintain electronic security systems – including intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
Diagnose and troubleshoot faults, conduct upgrades, and support temporary site setups
Work independently and within small teams across construction, commercial, and residential sites
Ensure jobs are completed to a high standard, meeting daily deadlines and client expectations
Enjoy a variety of work environments and tasks: From corporate installations and preventative maintenance at commercial facilities, to temporary construction site setups and residential installs – no two days are the same. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining hands-on work with technical problem-solving and system integration.
What We’re Looking For:
Industry Experience: You must have experience in the installation, maintenance, or servicing of security systems (alarms, CCTV, access control). Licensing in the electronic security industry is highly desirable.
Technical Skills: Comfortable using hand and power tools, able to interpret plans and run cables neatly and efficiently.
Professionalism: Strong communication skills and a professional attitude when interacting with clients and colleagues.
Licences & Tickets:
Security Licence (preferred or willingness to obtain)
White Card (mandatory)
Manual Driver’s Licence (mandatory)
Additional certifications (Working at Heights, EWP, etc.) are beneficial – list these in your resume.
Self-Driven: You’ll be trusted to manage your own time, make smart decisions on-site, and get the job done right.
